Since 1969, the members of the ​Blackhawk Railway Historical Society have had an interest and appreciation of railroad history and are actively involved in its study and preservation. 

​Today's well-chronicled events are the historical record for tomorrow, and therefore, we are also actively engaged in documenting today's railroading as well.

  • Members and guests welcome
  • Doors open at 7 PM  
  • Starts at 7:30 PM and will run no later than 10 PM
  • Food and drink available
  • Raffle of railroad and model railroad items
  • Program:  Dave Daruszka on the History of Chicago's Passenger Terminals
SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2025 - 10 AM to 2 PM
​SPRING INDIANA SWAP MEET
American Legion Post 66, ​132 N Wiggs St, Griffith, Indiana
  • Hall opens at 8 AM for vendor setup
  • Scheduled opening to public at 10 AM
  • Selling scheduled till 2 PM
    (vendors may leave before close...arrive early for best deals) 
  • $2 donation is requested at the door
  • Vendor tables sold out
